Refund Policy
Effective Date: 10 September 2026
Gurukul English Medium School, Vazirabad, Nanded ("School", "we", "our", or "us") is committed to maintaining a clear and transparent process for payments and refunds.
This Refund Policy explains the circumstances under which payments made to the School may or may not be eligible for a refund.
1. General Refund Policy
All refund requests are subject to verification and the applicable School rules.
Payment of a fee, registration charge, application charge, activity fee, or other amount does not automatically create a right to a refund.
Refund eligibility depends on the nature of the payment and the circumstances involved.
2. Admission and Registration Fees
Admission application fees, registration fees, processing fees, and administrative charges are generally **non-refundable**, unless the School specifically approves a refund or applicable law requires otherwise.
Payment of an admission or registration fee does not guarantee admission.
3. School Fees
School fees paid for an academic term, session, or other applicable period are generally subject to the School's applicable fee rules.
Where a refund is permitted, the amount and conditions will be determined by the School based on the relevant circumstances.
Fees relating to services, facilities, or academic periods already provided may not be refundable.
4. Activity and Event Fees
Fees paid for:
* Educational activities
* School trips
* Workshops
* Competitions
* Events
* Special programmes
* Other school activities
may be non-refundable once arrangements have been confirmed or the activity has commenced.
Where an activity is cancelled by the School, the School may determine whether a refund, adjustment, or alternative arrangement is appropriate.
5. Duplicate Payments
If a parent or guardian accidentally makes the same payment more than once, the School may verify the transactions.
Once the duplicate payment is confirmed, the additional amount may be refunded or adjusted against future applicable dues, subject to School approval.
6. Failed Payment Transactions
If money has been debited from a bank account but the payment has not been successfully reflected in the School's system, the parent/guardian should contact the School.
The School may verify the transaction with the relevant payment gateway or financial institution.
Where the transaction has failed and the amount is subsequently received by the School, the applicable amount may be refunded or adjusted after verification.
7. Refund Request
A refund request should include:
* Student's name
* Class
* Parent/guardian name
* Registered mobile number
* Payment/transaction ID
* Amount paid
* Date of payment
* Reason for refund request
* Relevant supporting information, where required
The School may request additional information to verify the transaction.
8. Refund Approval
Submitting a refund request does not guarantee approval.
Each request will be reviewed according to:
* Applicable School rules
* Nature of the payment
* Date of payment
* Services already provided
* Cancellation circumstances
* Applicable third-party charges
* Applicable laws and regulations
9. Refund Processing
Approved refunds will generally be processed through the original payment method wherever technically possible.
The time taken for the amount to appear in the parent's or guardian's account may depend on the bank, payment gateway, UPI provider, card issuer, or other financial institution.
The School is not responsible for delays caused by third-party financial institutions.
10. Payment Gateway Charges
Where a third-party payment gateway or financial institution has charged a transaction or processing fee, such charges may not be refundable where permitted by the applicable terms.
11. Non-Refundable Payments
Unless specifically approved by the School or required by applicable law, the following may be non-refundable:
* Admission registration fees
* Application processing fees
* Administrative charges
* Services already provided
* Activities already conducted
* Third-party charges already incurred
* Other charges specifically identified as non-refundable
12. Refund Due to School Cancellation
If the School cancels a paid service, activity, or programme, the School may, depending on the circumstances:
* Provide a full refund
* Provide a partial refund
* Adjust the amount against another applicable fee
* Offer an alternative activity or service
The applicable option will be determined by the School.
13. Payment Disputes
If a parent or guardian believes that a payment has been incorrectly processed, they should contact the School with the transaction details.
The School will review the matter and attempt to resolve the issue appropriately.
14. Changes to This Refund Policy
The School may update this Refund Policy from time to time.
The latest version will be published on this website with the revised Effective Date.
